Meet the Board of Directors for the IT&Telecommunications Special Interest Group
Chair: Andy Maxymillian, PMP
Andy Maxymillian’s experience includes over twenty years in the communications industry. Andy has spent the last several years as a consultant with Blue Wing Services, providing consulting and project management for various public safety clients. Blue Wing’s services include design, system integration, deployment, and most recently, 800MHz rebanding efforts for various large scale and multi-jurisdictional public safety radio networks.
VP Operations: Charlie Shaw
Charlie Shaw, PMP, has over 25 years cross-cultural experience in international technology projects. He currently serves as Director, Program Management Services with INSYTE Information Services, Inc., based in Sanford, Florida, USA, and also as a Managing Director for Mutiny Enterprises, LLC, a start-up company specializing in web and mobile applications design.
Past Chair: Petra Goltz, PMP
Petra Goltz, PMP, is a Project Manager at SITA. She has extensive project, programme, and training experience throughout Europe and has worked as a contractor at leading edge, highly successful companies such as AT&T, BMW, IBM, Nortel, Siemens, Sun Microsystems and Unisource, and at financial institutions like the ECB (European Central Bank), and MasterCard.
VP Professional Development: Marisa Oldnall, PMP
Marisa Oldnall has built her career on her success in delivering the full lifecycle of organizational, change driven and technology related projects and programs to a client base comprised primarily of financial, manufacturing, telecom, health and public sector innovators who have made integrating business improvement through technology implementation and operations a key priority. Most recently, her focus has been on helping organizations to build centres of excellence around project and program delivery related to achieving strategic corporate objectives.
VP Membership: Barbara Porter, PMP
Barbara Porter, PMP is the Director of Customer Applications for 1800flowers.com, where she has worked for the last 8 years. She manages development and maintenance of 13 ecommerce websites for the company, and a retail point-of-sale application used in company-owned stores.
VP of Technology: Luis Garcia, PMP, CSM
Luis Garcia is a project manager at EMC Consulting. He has more than 6 years of experience in the consulting industry managing custom application development projects and more than 9 years experience in the IT industry as a whole. Industries in which Luis has extensive experience in project management, team leadership, and technical knowledge include Financial Services, Oil and Gas, Insurance, Health Care Management and Construction.
VP Strategic Marketing: Bob Tarne, PMP
Bob Tarne, PMP is a Senior BPM Program Manager with Lombardi Software, where he specializes in implementing Business Process Management (BPM) software and leading process improvement initiatives following agile project management techniques. Prior to joining Lombardi, he was a Managing Consultant with PM Solutions, where he was responsible for improving client's project management practices. His work included measuring project management maturity, implementing methodologies, and establishing project management offices (PMOs).
VP Member Services: Laurentiu Hirsescu, PMP, CSM
Laurentiu Hirsescu is an IT professional with over 12 years experience in project management, IT networking, system administration, internet services, IT security, software development, and telecommunications. Laurentiu has a strong knowledge in various project management methodologies and frameworks.
