Manager of UMT Scholarship Program: Farhan Leil

Mr. Farhan A. Leil is the Manager of UMT Scholarship Program under the functional leadership of Marisa Oldnall, VP Professional Development.

Farhan is an active volunteer with the IT&T SIG where he manages logistics and supports the IT&T SIG webinars. He has also been appointed the IT&T event manager for Project World Toronto event. He is a continuous supporter of professional development for the members of our SIG.

Farhan has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and is currently pursuing the Masters degree in the Computer Science at the New York Institute of Technology.

Farhan is a Project Manager with over 10 years of experience working in the IT field. He has managed a wide range of initiatives in the telecommunications, insurance and wholesale industries covering marketing, sales, service, billing, human resources, payroll and finance. He has successfully led the delivery of several projects for clients like the Canadian Government, Dell, Ricoh, Dayco, Engage and others as a PM with Nexus Creative Solutions Inc. Prior to this, he worked for Jordan Telecom (subsidiary of France Telecom - ORANGE).
