VP of Professional Development

Vasilj Petrovic, PMP. P.Eng. is a Project Management Consultant with over thirty years of experience in managing projects in the information technology (IT), telecommunications and electrical engineering arenas. Currently Vasilj is a project manager with Toronto Pearson Airport, Canada. Prior to this assignment, he had worked for several companies in Canada and Europe, in addition to delivered projects on four continents: North America, Europe, Asia and Africa.
Vasilj has been an active member of the Project Management Institute since 1994 and a Project Management Professional (PMP) since 1996. Vasilj is a member of the following PMI chapters: Southern Ontario (Canada), Belgrade (Serbia), Moscow (Russia), Krasnoyarsk (Russia), Kazakhstan (Kazakhstan) and Prague (Czech Republic).
An active member of IT & Telecom Specific Interest Group (SIG) since 1999, Vasilj currently serves as the VP of Professional Development. Within his tenure, the IT&T Professional Development Programs have become a benchmark for quality and professionalism among for all PMI components.
Vasilj holds B.Sc. of Electrical Engineer with Honors and has been a Professional Engineer in Ontario since 1993. Vasilj is an executive of the Professional Engineers of Ontario, one of the largest engineering organizations in the world with over 70,000 members. In addition, Vasilj serves as Secretary for Canada of the Nikola Tesla Memorial Society of New York.
On a personal note, Vasilj lives in Toronto, Ontario with his wife and two children. In his leisure, Vasilj's enjoys singing in the Toronto choir.
