Meet the Manager of Professional Development Communications

Rob Morgan was appointed as the Manager of Professional Development Communications under VP Vasilj Petrovic in 2008.  Rob's focus within the SIG is to support the Professional Development Department with TSI, UTM, Mentoring Program, Project of the Year, GIG and webinar communiqué and web site content, formatting and distribution.  Rob's goal with his position is to deliver direct, concise, and value-added information to SIG members on a consistent basis.

Biography

Robert Morgan, PMPRob Morgan obtained his PMP credential in 2007 and is currently a Sr. Project Analyst at Securian Financial.  Previously, Rob worked with Integra Telecom, Inc. in Minneapolis, Minnesota, U.S.A until June of 2008 where he completed a corporate decentralization project.  His responsibilities at Integra included the decentralization management of a retentions department, the development of a competition tracking system and the creation of a revenue growth department, reporting to the marketing department.

Prior to Integra, Rob worked with Rollouts, Inc. as a Project Manager responsible for managing national hardware and software project rollouts.  Rob handled the planning, execution, monitoring, controlling and closing of multiple +$3 million dollar (U.S.) gross revenue projects.

Rob has seven years of progressive project management experience encompassing IT, sales, marketing, customer service, retention, project / product development and implementation.

Rob is currently attending Minneapolis Community and Technical College in pursuit of an A.A.S. with emphasis in Business Management.  In his leisure time, he enjoys playing hockey and broomball with his friends and family.
