Any organization is only as good as the people who keep it going. The IT & Telecom SIG is a volunteer based organization and we need your help! Volunteering can be an incredibly rewarding experience. By participating in the volunteer program you get a lot more than PDUs, you get to know and work with seasoned professional Project Managers. The relationships and networks you build as a volunteer are invaluable. If you can consistently offer just a few hours a week, we'd love to hear from you.

The IT& Telecom SIG currently has openings for the following volunteer positions;

WEBINAR SUPPORT
The VP of Professional Development is seeking volunteers to support our webinar programs in the languages of Portuguese, Arabic and Mandarin. Candidates will be required to be available to organize logistics and run technical support for the webinar occurrences in addition to participating in the webinars to introduce speakers and assist the speakers with questions and answer periods during these sessions. Candidates should ensure they have 2-4 hours per month available to participate in this task. They should also ensure that they are comfortable organizing and running live messaging/web conference software. This is a great opportunity to give back to the project management community and to learn more about project management concepts and principles at the same time!

MEMBERSHIP COMMUNICATIONS ASSISTANT
The VP of Membership is seeking volunteers to assist with monthly membership communications and reporting. Previous experience with Microsoft Access and Excel required, as well as access to versions 2003 or higher of these programs. Candidates should be extremely meticulous and detail oriented. Great opportunity to give back to the project management community and to help the SIG grow! Anticipated time requirements - 2-4 hours per month.

TECHNOLOGY TEAM
Our Technology Team is Looking for volunteers to develop and maintain all IT systems/projects. If you have experience in the following areas and are interested to get involved, please contact us
