In our last survey, you told us that IT & Telecom SIG Webinars provide you with tremendous knowledge and value. We wanted to ensure that the webinars we provide you with and the speakers we select, are not only far exceeding your expectations, but also are the best in the IT & Telecom world. To that end, we would like to introduce Amir Mosavi, the new Manager of the Guest Speaker Program.
Amir Mosavi has been a member of IT&T SIG since the day he became a member of PMI. Amir summarized his vision of the Guest Speaker Program in a few words:
• Providing excellent speakers who will inform our members about new trends in both the Information Technology and Telecommunications industries.
• Facilitating the exchange of experience and know-how among the IT and Telecom SIG members from different cultures and various companies.
Biography:

Amir Mosavi is a Project Manager with Rogers Wireless Partnership in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Rogers Wireless is one of the largest Canadian wireless communications service providers and is the only Wireless service provider in Canada operating on the world standard GSM / GPRS / EDGE and UMTS technology. Amir has been with Rogers since 2006.
Before this, he lived in Stockholm, Sweden and worked as a project manager for two major telecommunications companies, Allgon Mobile Communications and Ericsson.
Amir has more than 10 years of industry experience related to project management in high-tech industries specializing in GSM and UMTS both in R&D and Network roll out & Implementation. He has experience with running large, high budget projects with a mix of vendor, consulting and customer experiences. He has worked with different operators and mobile phone manufacturers all around the globe.
Amir received a M.Sc. in engineering from The Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm which is Scandinavia's largest institution of higher education in technology and one of the leading technical universities in Europe.
