Scrum Alliance Webinar Series
The IT&T SIG, in conjunction with the Scrum Alliance, is very pleased be able to invite you to join us for a series of webinars aimed specifically at building a bridge between the Agile and PMI communities.

If you are a project manager working in IT or IS, chances are Agile has been knocking on your door for quite some time. The simple fact is that in technology today, there is no one true way to solve the problems we face. Sometimes, the waterfall is your friend and sometimes you need an approach better suited to a high risk, dynamic project with lots of unknowns. Scrum, has grown to be one of the most well known and highly adopted Agile practices. Scrum offers a low entry barrier and allows for increased feedback and acceptance opportunities. And above all, it is very accepting of change.

For the past few months the Scrum Alliance and the IT&T SIG have been working together to develop programming with the purpose of building a bridge across the unnecessary chasm and helping the folks on each side see the value of what the other has to offer. We want to increase visibility, reduce fear and animosity, and most of all, help the members on both sides recognize that they can become better at what they do, and increase their chances of delivering successful projects simply by learning more about how to use the best of what the other side has to offer.
Beginning on Tuesday, August 12, at 8 PM Eastern, the IT&T SIG and the Scrum Alliance will present a new webinar each week.
